Bideford College is housed in one of the most fantastic school buildings in the country. Not only is our college modern, it has been exceptionally well designed and resourced to meet the demands of providing a first rate education for up to 1,800 students.
The college is now on a fantastic journey of improvement and success which will rapidly ensure that all our students make good progress and achieve well. Our vision is simple but focused and relevant: to be judged by Ofsted to be a good school and eventually outstanding.
The curriculum we offer, both in the main school and at post 16, is well designed. It is broad and offers opportunities for academic, technical and sporting excellence. The extracurricular programme we offer in addition is wide-ranging and enables our students to engage in sport and other activities and interests within the college and to perform and compete at regional and national level.
We are proud of our college and of its many strengths, not least the positive attitude and good behaviour of our students. We are also proud of our rapid journey of improvement.
It is always a pleasure for us to show our college to visitors. Whether you are in the process of making a choice of secondary school for your children or you simply have an interest in what your community’s secondary school looks and feels like on a normal school day, then we extend a warm invitation to you to visit us.
If you would like to pay us a visit please contact us by phone (01237 477611) or email – arrangements will then be made to suit your convenience.
