Bideford College celebrates the achievements of its students once again, with 50% of the students achieving the Government’s current preferred measure of A*-C in Maths and English.
In addition to this, there have also been some outstanding individual performances which include, Gaby Fey achieving 5 A grades and 7A* grades, Amy Seaman achieving 5 A*, 6A and 1B grade and Fergal Nesbit, who achieved 3A*, 7A and 2B.
Principal, Lyndsey Kane said, “I am extremely encouraged by these results, which represent the hard work and determination of the students, parents and staff at Bideford College. We are at the start of a journey which will ultimately result in Bideford having an outstanding school, delivering aspirational teaching and learning for every student who attends. The work which we have been doing over the previous 7 months, will improve even further the life chances of the young people of Bideford and I know that these improvements are only the beginning”
Chief Executive Officer Jack Jackson said “There are some great individual achievements by many Bideford College students demonstrating that young people who work hard achieve well. The developments which Bideford College have introduced this year will ensure that the school can build on this set of results in the future”
