Dear Parents and Carers,
I wanted to drop you a quick line at the end of the week to thank you for your on-going support. It is really lovely to receive messages from you and the students as we continue to adapt to remote education. I cannot stress enough that we do not expect you to be teaching your children, just supporting them as best you can. The teachers at Bideford College will work hard to ensure the curriculum is adapted to take account of this period of disrupted education when we can reopen our classrooms in the future. In the meantime we will continue to evaluate the learning experiences and communication we are putting in place. To help us with this I would really value your opinions through the completion of a quick survey. This can be found at https://forms.gle/yxAQSeKAVorKucUA7.
It is really uplifting to see the activities that our young people are engaged in at this difficult time. Please continue to share this through #snap and share on the college Facebook page. I am also pleased to see the large amounts of house points being awarded by teachers. Well done Farwell for topping the points league this week!
I hope this finds you and your families well.
